Do you want a summer that is fun and challenging?

Sportsclub Kids is looking for talented and caring counselors for our summer camp!

At Sportsclub Kids, we believe in having fun, being silly, and staying active! Our campers and counselors have a blast together! Working at camp, however, is also a big responsibility. Parents put a tremendous amount of faith in us when they entrust us with their children, and we take that trust seriously. Counselors work with the rest of our team to safeguard our campers' physical and emotional well-being. Our campers are part of our family, and our goal is to create a fun and exciting environment where they can try new things, leave their comfort zones, and grow in self-confidence. As you spend the summer with our amazing campers, you act as a cheerleader, parent, coach, problem-solver, hero, trusted friend, and much more. Being a camp counselor is challenging, but it also has many rewards! Are you up to the challenge?

  • Do you enjoy spending time with children and see the innate value in every child?
  • Can you put your campers above yourself?
  • Do you work well as part of a team?
  • Are you willing to be silly to make camp more fun?
  • Can you be flexible and adjust to unexpected changes?
  • Are you open to trying new things?
  • Can you smile and still give it your all when you are stressed?
  • Are you responsible and a good role model?
  • Do you take initiative and work well independently?

If your answer to these questions is yes, we would love to receive an application from you!

Responsibilities & Privileges

Counselors are assigned to a group of campers who they work with all week along with a co-counselor. In addition to our regular camp activities, counselors are also responsible for leading choice periods based on their skills and interests. We expect our counselors to be actively engaged with our campers throughout the camp day to ensure their safety and to make the camp day fun.

Summer camp runs 11 weeks (June 5-August 18). Counselors work on average 35-40 hours (never over 40) a week Monday-Friday and have weekends off with the exception of staff training weekend June 2-4. Counselors have 2-3 weeks off during the summer. Counselors may not take individual days off, as it is important to our program to have consistency on our teams.

Counselors receive a complimentary membership to all three Sportsclub locations while they  are employed.

We can't wait to see you at Sportsclub Kids!!
